You photograph a Canadian label. Pearchy reads the declared ingredient text, compares it against your allergen profile, and returns Compatible, Avoid, or Uncertain with the ingredient it caught. It can't read what isn't written. It won't tell you a product is safe. That's the boundary, and it's intentional.

The physical package at the time of purchase is the source of truth. Formulations change. Labels are sometimes printed in error. Always verify.

Declared ingredients only. Pearchy won't catch undeclared cross-contamination, a label printed in error, or a formulation that changed after the package was sealed. Those limits are why the final call stays with you at the shelf.
